Looking for book suggestions

I have been teaching myself Access by reading books and I have just finished
a book on Access VBA programming that I found rather unsatisfactory. (The
book was Beginning Access 2003 VBA by Denise Gosnell) I would love to hear
any suggestions that the readers may have for Access books that they have
found most useful. Thanks.

While the Developer's Handbook is a fabulous resource, I'm not sure I'd
consider it that appropriate for a novice.
