looking for IU561401.CAB from office 2003 professional cd

I am having problem installing office 2003 prof. on a new laptop, it keeps
telling me it can not find IU561401.CAB, HELP!!!!!

I had the same problem - my request for help is below. First, can you find
the file on the CD by exploring for the file. I am assuming you can. It
should be in the root of the CD. Set up a folder on your hard drive for
copying files from the CD to the folder. I found initially that I could not
copy IU561401.CAB, but could copy the neighboring files. Finally, to get it
to copy I had to start up my machine again with other programs shut down. I
tried a different CD drive, but that didn't help. I can only guess that the
file is marginally corrupted and is difficult to read. If you can get a copy
to the folder, begin the installation again. At the point it fails, browse
to the location on your hard drive to access a readable copy. If this
doesn't work, I can only suggest cuss at your machine. Good luck. BrianD
