| |
| | Sam, actually MVPs are chosen for their contribution to the FrontPage
| | community and for their professionalism in assisting Microsoft's
| customers.
| | It's not a political process. Most MVPs don't even know each other
until
| | Microsoft puts them together.
| |
| | Your choice to include MVP site links on your site is a good one. I use
| | many MVP sites regularly for the valuable information contained in them;
| not
| | only FrontPage MVPs, but other MVPs as well.

I remember back in the old days when someone could submit a person for
nomination whether you were a mvp or not. I wasn't one at the time, and
submitted Tom Rowe...and he was subsequently awarded after going through the
5-month "jumpstart" probationary program that was then in effect.

Later, I was asked to join the MVP jumpstart, but bailed out after a couple
of months, then gave my "slot" to Dave Berry by nominating him.

Then, after another MVP submitted my name again, I finally accepted the MVP
award. I guess it's been 5 or 6 years. Can't remember.

Actually I've been around since like 11/99 but took a short vacation - I
