Looking for MSXML/VBA Expertise

I need some help with using MSXML to access complex xml data (from a
Marc21 database). Specifically, I'm unable to figure out how to make
the SelectNodes function of a DOMDocument work with the data i'm
retrieving.

I understand XML, but i'm really struggling with XPath and namespaces
and the like. Once I understand how to retrieve certain nodes with
SelectNodes, I can do the rest myself.

I'm happy to pay some consulting time to someone who knows what s/he's
doing with MSXML. I also need to understand the implications for
packaging MSXML into the template code I distribute.

Can anyone help?
