lookup information in a row like a record

I have a worksheet that dumps data which each row reads like a record. I
need to search through that worksheet and under one column (identifier) take
all records that have the same identifier and bring them into another
spreadsheet - but only certain columns of data. Is this possible in Excel?

try data>filter>autofilter
