Lookup Utility

I need to develop a html lookup utility/ I could distribute to a group so
they may do their own simple one-off queries.

I would like have users enter keyfield search string and perhpas have option
of selecting particular info/fields desired. All info I imagine they would
require is in a single table.

If this utility would allow multiple search records, say one to 5/10 it
would be that much better.

I have solid basic DB skills but by no meand am I a developer. I do learn
quickly, however.
