lookup with 2 conditions

Is it possible to have 2 conditions for a 'lookup'? ie Nested..
ie: lookup(A1,$B$2:$B$9,lookup(B1,$C$2:$C$9,$D$2:$D$9))

=INDEX($D$2:$D$9,MATCH(1,(A1=$B$2:$B$9)*(B1=$C$2:$C$9),0))
