Looping

I am putting together a PP presentation that will be used during a
theatrical show. I want to make it easier for the guy who is going to be
periodically whacking the spacebar. However, I think I have to make two
different presentations and have him load in the second one. This

shouldn't< be difficult, but I'm paranoid. Here's the scenario:

I need to have a looping segment that will play while the audience is being
seated...waiting for the show...that sort of thing.
The rest of it is a straight forward presentation that he will invoke as
called for in the script.
It would be nice if this could all be one presentation, but I couldn't
figure any way to make a segment loop until a spacebar tap, so I am (as
mentioned above) making them two different presentations.

Now, maybe it's dead easy, but prior to this I've never had to deal with PP
beyond a real basic level and I am slightly out of my element, although I
have made it do some nifty effects and am quite pleased with my finished
product.

Yes, create two presentations. Have the first slide of your presentation
link to the looping presentation. Then pressing the ESCape key takes you
back to your "real" presentation. Here is a good tutorial and explanation:
