Loosing data when saving a from 2007 to 2003

Hi,

When we open a project 2007 file with project 2007 SP2 and save it as a 2003
file random text field data is missing when it is opened with 2003 SP3 or
2007 SP2. I was wondering if there is any kind of fix for this problem.

Could you be more specific than "Random"
or perhaps you'd like to donate the file jeaksel at yahoo dot com

As Jim says, it would be helpful to know what specific text field data is lost.

Interestingly, using the Help button in the warning box which may be
displayed when saving does not provide a huge amount of extra help, but it
does say "If you save a project to the Project 2003 MPP format, you may lose
some data in areas where Office Project 2007 contains enhanced functionality."

One area of 2007 enhanced functionality is the ability to have a background
colour in table cells. One might logically assume that a file saved in 2003
format would therefore not show any such shading when reopened in 2007.

I have found, however, that this is not the case. If the file saved in 2003
format is reopened (in 2007) then that shading is preserved.
