Losing category settings..

Melvin

We are having problems in Outlook 2007 with a user's category setting
changing on it's own when a user clicks on a contact. It changes the
category selected by the user to "no category".

Anyone have any idea why this is happening and how we can prevent it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Does it happen only if the user clicks into the Categories column? If so,
ask him to remove the quick-click category - or not to click into that
column.

Yes, that is exactly what is happening, but the user cannot remote the
category column because he uses it all the time. Sometimes he clicks it
accidentally and it make a total mess of his contacts.

Ok, he just needs to set the quick-click category to None.
