Losing macro buttons on saved documents

I've created a template which includes 6 macro buttons on the standard
toolbar. When you go to create a new document based on this template, all
looks fine with styles, macro buttons, etc. However, after you save the
document and close it, when you reopen it, only 2 of the macro buttons are
present, and can only view 3 macros from the Tools/Macro/Macros view. Also,
when you look at the project window of the VB Editor, only 4 of the 7 modules
created in the template appear in the new document.
I've tried reattaching the template, with no luck. Any ideas why these
macros, buttons, and modules from the template are not attaching in whole
with the newly saved document? Thanks.
