I have a dual core processor where I'm running Access 2003. The screen
in question runs updates against the database while displaying a
progress bar on the screen. If I go to a different screen, browse
email, etc., this screen will no longer show the updates to the screen
although the program is still running. If I let it be, the screen will
eventually return control to me. If I don't leave the screen, then it
will continue to update the screen as it should. Additionally if I
leave this screen, the application immediately goes into a not
responding mode. Any help is appreciated.
