Hi Everyone,
I have a bizare problem and wonder if any of you have come across this before.
One of the empoyees at my company has two laptops, a toshiba r100 and a sony
visio, both running XP Pro and have office installed, the Toshiba has office
2003 and I suspect the Sony has office xp installed.
One is used at home (the Sony) and has remote dial in capability. The only
part of office that is linked to the network is outlook. Now when ever the
person uses the sony to remote dialin and access his emails it alters his
other laptop at work.
When he next comes in to work and uses word, the tools menu is not
selectable and he loses the ability to insert a picture into the word
document. The only soloution is to do a repair of office.
The Sony still has all options available at home and the tools menu can be
accessed. This is really strange and is baffling me so any help would be
truly appreciated.
