Losing Word as E-mail Editor

Hi All

Each morning that I switch on my computer, I have to reset
Word as E-mail editor within Outlook as it does not stay.
Any ideas?

I am using Office 2000, Word 97/Outlook 97?

Any help would be much appreciated.
