Loss of Outlook connection over VPN

Can connect to Outlook Exchange server over VPN with Vista Home Premium (32
bit), but connection drops out after a few minutes. Requires reboot. Access
to server files stays connected indefinitely. Any help? Thanks much.

You don't mention what the VPN solution is or version of Outlook, but there
has been issues in the past where you have to change Outlook's
authentication type to NTLM. The reason why is that the Kerberos
authentication would get dropped by some VPN solutions.
