lost addresses in "contacts" during .pst restore

I created a .pst file to backup my Outlook folders. I
imported these folders on the new machine and all seemed
well at first. I've since noticed that the information
contained for each contact is blank. Now I've got a bunch
of contacts but no e-mail addresses for them.

Anyone have an idea on how to get these addresses back or
are they gone forever?
