Lost admin rights for my multiuser database.

I created a multiuser database on a network drive and somehow I lost my admin
rights. Everything was working fine and i can still log in with my user id
and the admin id which are both in the administrator group with all rights.
However when i try to modify the database it says that I must have
administrator rights. I am also still able to reasign users to different
groups, but I can't change ownership of objects or modify them.

You do realize that if the "admin" id has full rights, anyone can take this
file and open it with the default system.mdw and they will have admin
rights?

One of the most important steps in the security process is to remove "admin"
user id rights.
