Lost BCM Contacts, but my Accounts are still there - help!

I have been using my BCM remotely for a couple of weeks and have therefore
missed a backup. To my horror, I have just discovered that my BCM Contacts
folder is completely empty, although I still have my Accounts.
Any ideas how this could have happened and how I can get them back?
