Lost calendar data in outlook 2007 after blackberry dm v 4.7 sync

After 3 tech calls to RIM, when I sync using Vista home premium, with outlook
2007 using desktop manager v4.7 and a verizon 8830 BB phone, I am constantly
prompted to delete hundreds of calendar items. Last month I lost my entire
1st quarter of calendar items. Augh.

I reject the sync, call tech support, they run through import/backup/2 hours
of changes, then my data is ok on BB and outlook, but the next day (today) I
try to sync and am again prompted to delete 653 calendar items, which again I
reject.

Is there a diagnostic tool to help me see if my outlook or calendar data is
corrupt?
I feel my BB settings are fine, and that it's something in outlook, hence
this post.
Thanks for any tips!

You're prompted to delete them in Outlook or to delete them on your phone?

If you run some addin that modifies the calendar items, then your sync
software will want to update your phone as well. The usual suspect here is a
virus scanner that integrates with Outlook and marks the items as scanned.
Disable/uninstall this integration and try again.

Also, check your pst-file for errors with scanpst.exe

For the rest, Outlook only plays a passive role in the sync process. Mobile
devices usually have the option to delete items which are older than a
certain time to save the limited space on the device. Sync software usually
can be set to how far in the past/future items should sync.
