Lost calendar info from Nov 2007 and older (Help)

I needed to know the time of an appointment from June 2007 so I went back in
my calendar only to find that everything from November 2007 and older was
blank.

I have been using Outlook for over two years and I thought all my past
appointments were still on my calendar.

Is there a way of retrieving the past that I had on Outlook?

Is there a setting that limits how many months in the past are kept? Can I
change that setting.

Do you have AutoArchive enabled? Look in tools, options, other, autoarchive.
