I have an application that uses an Access Front-End
application with an Access database backend. Periodically
I will experience a momentary loss of connection to the
network sever where the database exists. When that happens
I get a disk error in Access that causes numerous
problems. Manytimes I have to kill the application process
on my workstation, then restart the application to get
things working again. I believe this is generally a
momentary problem, because if I navigate to the server
through explorer, I can get to everything, open files, etc
withought any problems. Is there a way to re-establish the
connection without having to kill the process and start
the app again.
