Lost drop-down menus on Word Task Bar

I work in a Primary School. One of my staff allowed a
child to go on her computer. Since that time she has had
no drop down menus in Word in Microsoft Office 2001 for
the Mac, other than FONTS. Every other drop down menu in
all the other applications works e.g. Power point, excel.
We have tried everything, including re-installing the
software.

We have tried the customize section but that is not it.
Please help.

It wasn't the child's fault. This is a known bug that pops up
occasionally. See
