I have OL2002 and WinXP Pro. I have lost all of my e-mails
from my "Inbox" and "Sent" folders, but all e-mails remain
intact in any personal folders I created. Any suggestions
on how to retrieve them? And once retrieved, what do I do
then, as I am no computer whiz by any means
I would really like to know if this is a common occurence--
I have heard that it IS with Outlook as opposed to other
e-mail programs (??).
When this happened, I recall that my computer date had
been automatically changed to a date in the year of 2051,
and I noticed the incorrect year when my OL Reminders
starting popping up incorrectly. Perhaps a virus of some
sort caused the date change? If I turn off my "auto
archive" feature, would this help prevent this from
happening again if my date gets bumped up again?
