Lost fonts

I created a presentation in Powerpoint 2003 with a template that used the
Stencil font. Apparently this font is not included in powerpoint 2007? How
do I get it back? This is urgent as it is due tomorrow and my font looks
very strange, and feminine and italic now, when it's supposed to be military
like and masculine. HELP!!

I would love to, but the computer was old and I don't have the discs. Now
what do i do?

Did you try Google to see if you can find it online somewhere? If not, maybe
you can find something similar.

Thanks, now how do I get it into my presentation. I downloaded and extracted
it to the windows file "fonts" but it doesn't show up anywhere. Why is
Office help so hard? I'm searching on "how to download new font" and can't
find anything. This is the most frustrating thing ever - i want to throw my
new computer out the window

Control panel, Fonts folder, File, Install new font, browse to the font. Or
simply drop the font on the font folder.

That will most undoubtedly violate your warranty.

No - the computer warranty. The OP joked (I hope) that she's ready to
defenestrate her computer. (Haven't we ALL wanted to do that at one time or
another?)

:

Stencil was bundled with numerous Office programs. You might look on
your
Office
2003 disks.

I'm too late for this poster, but maybe this will help others. When you save
the file, you can embed the font. http://pptfaq.com/FAQ00076.htm tells you
exactly how, and then explains some of the issues you may run into. I don't
know if Stencil is embeddable or not.

I'm surprised nobody directed you to the PPT group for a quick, accurate
answer.
