Lost Install Disk to MS Office XP Standard

Hi!

I went to reinstall XP Office Standard on new computer,
opened case and discovered missing disk. Can anyone give
me a link or a number to call MS to get replacement
disk. I have tried the Offical website and so far have
been stymied in this endeavor. Complications seem to be
that I am in Canada, the only number listed is overseas
in UK ( or India?) dont fancy calling LD for hours to be
told I am out of luck :)

If you have a friend with the identical version you can ask him to burn you a
copy. There is nothing on any MS CD that ties it to a specific Product Key.
However, the version must be IDENTICAL, i.e. Retail Office Std. Key won't work
with Retail Office Pro or any OEM version.

To obtain a replacement CD-ROM or manual, contact Microsoft
Supplemental and Replacement Parts at (800) 360-7561; Microsoft may
ask you to fax a copy of the store receipt.

If your copy of Office was preinstalled in a computer or distributed
by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), you must contact the OEM
for a replacement.

If you acquired a copy of Office through the Microsoft Volume
Licensing program (including an Open or Select license), contact the
Microsoft Worldwide Fulfillment Office at (800) 248-0655.
