lost lookup table

I have two Access databases that are linked.. One of them
uses lookup tables to find info from the other database. I
have recently added a password to both databases. Since
doing that I find that the lookup colimns do not show any
info from the other database. The lookups reappear if i
remove the passwords.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Paul,
First of all, the behavoir you describe is extremely odd and may (underline
"may") indicate some kind of corruption occuring in your database. You may
want to check Tony Toews' corrupt databases page to see if your problem is
described there. http://www.granite.ab.ca/corruptmdbs.htm.

Beyond that, did you add a Database Password or user level
username/password? If it is the former, then you should probably just
eliminate that altogether because database passwords are next to useless as
a security tool. Get a copy of the Security FAQ from Microsoft, read it over
several times, and follow it to the letter. There is a link to it on the
security page of my Website.
