lost mail files

I had lost the ability to boot my system (XP) and had to
reinstall XP without wiping files. It has appeared to fo
the most part acomplish this. EXCEPT I have lost my email
files which contain some critical information. Is there a
chance these files exist someware still?

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Same thing happened to me, Cox told me that if you
completely un-install and re-install you lose your address
book. Only on an upgrade will you be able to retreive it
sorry I lost mine also.

Baloney. Cox has no clue. Uninstall/reinstall will never lose data. Your PST
will remain intact.
