Lost menu item

Hello

I have an (inherited!) access97 mdb, which when loaded includes a 'custom'
menu heading called "PAYE" (on the normal menu item toolbar, between the
Tools and the Window menu headings). When clicked, 2 options are available
(essentially, each runs a macro). Recently the mdb became corrupted, so I
had to create a new, empty mdb then import all the objects: but "PAYE" menu
item is absent.
I have tried doing right-click on the menu bar and selecting Customise, and
then adding a new toolbar, but this doesn't put a new menu heading alongside
the existing menu headings - instead it creates a new toolbar (obviously!).

So how do I re-create the 'custom' menu heading "PAYE", and also how to I
then attach the 2 options to run the macros?

I should add that this needs to be done as a menu item and not with a normal
form button, because the 2 actions both require the focus to be on a report
open in preview, and if the focus moves to a button the macros will fail.

Hope someone can help.
Many thanks
Les

You can import the menus from the original database.
It is an option in the advanced area (press the Advanced button on the
import screen).

If that does not work, then perhaps someone can help you
by posting step-by-step instructions on creating a menu.

The problem will be that you will need to no exactly what the old menu
did and how it did it.
