Lost Microsoft Word, Excell, Powerpoint, etc

Somehow Microsft Word, Excell, Powerpoint and all my
office programs have been deleted or removed from my
computer. Please help me find them or tell me how I can
load them back. I think the culprit may be my 14 year
old grandson.

Go to Control Panel-Add/Remove programs and see if there is an entry for
Microsoft Office. If not, then it has been un-installed and you need to
re-install it.
If there is, then do a repair - that will re-instate your program icons.
If you are running Windows 2000, log on as Administrator and set up an
account for your grandson and deny access to Control panel so he CAN'T
uninstall programs. If you are running XP, give your grandson a LIMITED user
account.
In either case, password-protect any Administrator accounts and do NOT tell
him the password.
