lost my activation after removing a trial version of Office

Did your copy of Office Pro come with a previous computer?

You bought a computer with a trial version of Office 2003 and uninstalled
it. Right away or after you used it?

You had a copy of Office Pro. Which version? Did you install it on your
computer before or after you uninstalled the trial?

Did your copy of Office Pro come with another computer?

I removed the standard 2003 that was on my computer at purchase, and
then
when I went to use my professional version again it tells me that I
can't
activate it because I have reached the max activations. It wasn't
doing
that
until I removed the trial version.

if it came pre-installed on another computer or did you go to your local

I removed the standard 2003 that was on my computer at purchase,
and
then
when I went to use my professional version again it tells me that
I
can't
activate it because I have reached the max activations. It
wasn't
doing
that
until I removed the trial version.

I have to be pedantic because my answer changes based on your response. Of
course, you paid for it whether it came preinstalled or you purchased it
separately. So I have to ask: Did you purchase it completely separate from
your computer?

No it was a purchased version

That's not quite what I asked. I assumed you'd used it before but I'm
asking
if it came pre-installed on another computer or did you go to your local
software retailer and purchase it separately.

I had put it on another computer prior to this one

You shouldn't have used the trial version at all - it cause a lot of
problems when using another package. But hindsight is 20/20 vision.

Did your copy of Office Pro come with a previous computer?

After I used it and I had a copy of office pro 2003 and I installed
it
by
disk, before I uninstalled the trial version that came pre installed
on
my
computer amd it was getting close to the trial expiration so I
thought
I
might as well get it off the cmoputer since I had been using the pro
anyway.

:

Start over again:

You bought a computer with a trial version of Office 2003 and
uninstalled
it. Right away or after you used it?

You had a copy of Office Pro. Which version? Did you install it on
your
computer before or after you uninstalled the trial?

Did your copy of Office Pro come with another computer?
