lost navigation bars after import

I have been using frontpage 98 on a micron pc with windows nt4 with good success. I installed the frontpage 98 on a toshiba laptop with windows xp pro. I want to "transfer or copy" my website from the micron to the toshiba and have the identical frontpage 98 installed on each machine. I published the website on the micron to a zip drive and imported the same onto the toshiba. However, all the frontpage navigation bars are missing. Do you have any suggestions

Never import an entire web. Always Publish.
Publish your original web to the Zip drive, then open that site in FP98 and
publish to its final destination.

Or, publish to the internet, then open that site from the laptop and publish
down to the laptop.

Importing will never get navigation, themes, shared borders or include
pages - will only transfer what the browser sees.

Thank you for the helpful advice. I was able to
successfully accomplish getting my website onto the laptop
as described.
