Define "import".
If you use the Import command on the File menu, that's
most likely your problem. You need to open the remote site
in FrontPage, and then Publish it back to a local folder.
If you customarily publish by FTP, then open the remote
site in your FTP program, copy the whole site back to an
empty folder on your disk, and then choose Open Site from
the FP File menu and open that folder.

after re-installing front page, I imported my web site
from the web. went to edit the home page, but all the
content was gone. Didnot try to save a empty page, so
tried to view the home page in the browser. all the
content was there. How can I get the content back so I can
see it and edit it.? infact, all the content on all the
web pages is gone !!! but each individual file can be
viewed in a browser.I never had this problem with
frontpage 98 Please Help.
