Lost Pst file

I deleted a very large file that I thought was a dr watson log file.
eveidently my pst file was in there. No outlook won't open. I am able to open
outlook in other profiles but I lost all my email for the last year and
contacts, etc. I have scanned for the pst file but can't find it. I copied
the file before I deleted it but when I tried to paste it I was not allowed
to. It was too large to go into the recycle bin so it was not saved there. I
have a file recovery system but it has not turned up there. Is it lost for
good?

If you copied the file, copy it back to your HDD, (do NOT overwrite any
existing pst file), and set it as the default delivery location (Control
Panel-Mail-Data Files). Outlook should then open normally...

Search your HD for an file called "archive" and if you are lucky it might be
recent enough to be of use. If it is recent enough import it.
