Lost records?!?!

M

Mike

When I opened my Access 2000 database today, all the records I entered
into a particular table yesterday were gone, almost like it reverted to
the state it was in on the previous day!
Is all that lost for good, or is there a way I can recover it?
Thanks!

Mike are you certain you opened the right database?
If you are anything like me, I keep backup copies.
It's unusual to lose all of one day's entries like that.

If not, the first thing to do is to close Access and make a copy of the
database so you get multiple chances at trying to recover it.

Then compact and repair the copy:
Tools | Database Utilities | Repair
It is possible that the entries were lost due to a bad index, and if so a
repair could recover them.

If that does not help, there are further suggestions at:
