Lost resources from my Project

Hi,
We user Project server 2003 and Project Professional 2002. Our project
managers do not have rights to "Build Team on Project" or "Build Team on New
Project". However we noticed today morning that all resources were lost from
a particular project. We also noticed that "Enterprise resources" that are a
part of every one of our projects were no longer members of this particular
project. I don't have a clue as to what happened. I could always restore from
my backup. But I would feel more comfortable if I would be able to explain
the loss of data. Any help will be appreciated.
