OK - I get it. The old fashioned way.... Thanks Rob....

Maybe... ftp it down - make put everything in one folder and then open that
folder with FP and when prompted let FP create a web out of it. I've never
done this but it should work.
There's another tedious way to do it with your Browser and the Edit
button...but you have to do every dang page and then make sure you've gotten
all the files - I've done this when I wanted to disect a design and see how
the orig. designer did what he did.

| How would I get a non-extended site into FP by connecting with FP? 8)

|
| Then I'd do a new Publish back to your local machine...under a new web
name

|
|
| | | OK - I get that. How do I do it? When I try to open the site, I am
| | challenged for a login, and that login doesn't seem to work.

&

FTP.

| |
| | | | | Okie Dokie. That's the part I needed.
| | |
| | | What about a site that is hosted on a non-FP extension server? Is
there
| | any
| | | way to get that using FP?

| | | | This means if the site has access to FP extensions?
| | | |
| | | | Suppose I have a site that does not have access to that, yet is
hosted
