Lost Workspace on new profile.

Because of some other problems one user on my network requested that I
re-create her user profile (while keeping her same user name in the new user
profile).

Not surprizingly the groove workspace that she was a member was no longer
available since it would have been tied to her old SID.

I suggested that she have the workspace leader uninvite her and then
re-invite her.

Now the user says that the computer appears to synchronizing data but the
workspace shows just some old calendar items but nothing else.

First of all it sounds like you are trying to use Roaming Profiles with
Groove (forgive me if my assumtuption is incorrect!) Romaing Profiles ar not
supported in Groove. Did your user move her Groove Account file to te new
machine?

Have you tried running GrooveClean.exe?

Hey there,

Try having the user delete the space from her Groove account and then
completely shut down Groove via the icon in the system right (click the icon
and select Exit). Then have the manager of the space reinvite her back in
when she launches Groove again.

Mark is right, running Groove in a roaming profile scenario is a very bod
idea because all of Goove is local to the machine. Doing with GVO was very
difficult and frought with exceptions that really broke the whole concept of
the roaming profile. In short, it is not advised that you do this.
