Lotus Word Pro

A friend of mine sent me a Lotus Word Pro folder with
some Lotus Word Pro files in it. I don't have Lotus Word
Pro on my System. Can you tell me how to open these
files using Microsoft Word.

You can't.

Go to Lotus SmartSuite site and download Verity KeyView for Lotus:

This is a viewer, but I have heard you can copy-and paste text from it.

WordPro saves in RTF and in various Word formats, you can ask your friend
just to save the documents as Word documents.
