Hi All,
I am having a real showstopper of a problem, I have to send
a presentation to our US offices that I have created on my
MAC, it is running OSX 10.2 and ver 5 of Office.
The problem comes when i try to play the video I inserted
into the ppt within windows.I get a message that states
"quicktim TM and Cinepak decompressor are needed to see
this picture"
Now here is the crux of it all, I tried the video in 3
different formats created from the Mac AVI, MOV and MPEG-4,
when I run these files directly on the pc all but the mp4
works in its own right.
I can actually insert these mac made files into a pc PPT
and they play, I can even insert the files into the PPT
made on the mac and it works once saved on the pc, they
just wont play direclty from the MAC ?
I have checked that the codecs are installed on the PC and
have installed the latest Nimo pack.
I have made sure that when I make the PPT on the MAC that i
put the video and the ppt in the same folder.
I have tried inserting the video from the "insert" command,
and have also tried drag n drop.
Can anyone shed any light on this problem.
A reply by e-mail would be ideal as I have limited news
access.
Any help will be gratefully recieved.
