Macro Security Settings: Application Specific? / Reboot Required?

Hi,

I have Office 2003 Pro installed on my XP machine. When I change the
security setting from Low to Medium, is it application specific, or
does it change across all MS Office 2003 applications? Is a reboot
required to save the setting, or is it changed immediately.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

As far as I know the setting is application sepcific and a new setting will
be effective the next time you start the application.

New start means: close all windows of that application and all apps using
this application silently (such as by calling them in the background using
VBA).
