Macro security settings?

I just helped a coworker this morning who couldn't run a macro I wrote. Her
security setting was High. She set it to Medium, and the macro ran fine.
So now I'm wondering if I should put this into an Add-In, so she can run it
with security on High. I stopped, because I'm that familiar with this, and
I'm not really sure that Add-Ins run on High.

So I set _my_ security to High. But my regular macros in Normal.dot still
run! Why?

And _will_ Add-Ins run on High security, if "Trust all Add-Ins" is checked?

You can set installed templates and Add-Ins to be accepted with a High
security setting.

If you put your macro in a template that is in the user templates folder,
the workgroup templates folder, or loaded at startup by being in the Word
startup folder, security will accept it if the option to trust these files
is checked.
