Fred
I will explain in more detail, hopefully I can get my point across, what I
am feeling ..
I had this somewhat posted on another group but did not get any feedback.
.......
I am using a shared workbook ((S:\share\tch_list.xls ), with info in
Columns A to S.
Info in Rows usually at least 600 Rows used ,, this is on Sheet 1 of
workbook.
Current Date is typed in Column A from Row 4 to Row 600 when task is
complete for data
in that Row .
So many Rows may have at random, Current date or Date , task was completed
in the Column A .
Would like a function or macro to scan down the Column A and cut out the
complete row
and insert-paste or append into another shared workbook .
((S:\share\track_tch_list.xls )..
Rather than having to sort the worksheet by Coulmn A and cutting out all of
the
rows of completed data, and then pasting into another shared workbook.
several times aday.
There may be 4 Users that share the ((S:\share\Tch_list ) workbook at any
time.
2 of these Users only would kneed to see the
(S:\share\track_tch_list ),,Workbook,, sheet,
the workbook with the completed tasks in it... They are not interested in
seeing the
full complete list ..
This would be helpful to all Users .
The info below is an example of the file .
The Rows that I have marked as ( Task finished ) would be the Rows to cut
out and be appended
into the S:\share\Track_tch_list . ,, The Rows that I have marked ( Task Not
finished ) would stay .
A B C D E
1 comp part part part material
2 date number rev qty number
3
4 10/18 123456 A 45 913-104R ( Task
finished )
5 10/18 123456 A 45 913-104R ( Task
finished )
6 123456 A 45 913-104R ( Task
Not finished )
7 10/20 123456 A 45 913-104R ( Task
finished )
I would not know how to use the Filter on a shared workbook ,, and
have the Filterted data moved to another workbook ..
thanks for the reply ,
