Hi,
I have too many word documents (2016) that contain a logo (image) in the header, how can I record a macro to compress this logo to another resolution in order to reduce the document size? and of course be able to use this macro in similar documents?

AFAIK this can't be done via a macro, since the compression tools are not accessible to VBA. There is a method using Sendkeys, but that only works in Word 2003 & earlier. In any event, unless you've merely scaled down a raster image with an excessive amount of resolution, compressing it won't change much. And, if it's a vector image, it won't compress at all. For future documents (and even existing documents if you want to go to the effort of replacing the image - which could be implemented via a macro), you might find it better to link the documents to an external image file via an INCLUDEPICTURE field.
