macro to list logins

spence

i have a workbook on a shared network drive than many
people access. there is a userform with a login where
one puts there username and password to log in to the
spreadsheet. i want to take the text they typed in the
textbox and put it into a cell on the sheet(hidden).
then when another person logs in at another time have it
put there name in the same fashion right below it, and so
on and so on. it can't use the Application.username
property because that is the company name, i just want
the name they type in the text box. also if a date/time
stamp could be done with a macro next to it that would be
nice, i can kinda do it with a formula but any advice
would be appreciated. TIA

Spence,

If your workbook already has the username and passwords available to ensure they are valid users of the application, then you can
use your validation routine to count/write the access. Otherwise, it would seen like you're just asking for help on how to steal
usernames and passwords.....
