macromedia director

I'm trying to link from PowerPoint to a Director movie. I've been successful
gettint the Director Movie to play using hyperlink and action settings,
however, when I try to exit the movie, I get a black screen and have to
control alt delete to get out of PowerPoint. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.
