Macros Are not staying on the toolbar

I am running Windows Xp SP1 and Office 2003 SP2, I created a simple
macro and placed it on the toolbar. When I shut down word and restart
it the macro is missing from the tool bar. I have deleted the
Normal.dot template and I also renamed the data registry entry. Could
anyone help me? Thank You

Do you have Acrobat 7 installed? This prevents normal saving of normal.dot.

Try hold shift key, click File, Save All.

Yes I do have Adobe 7.0 installed. I did both the shift file and save
all and it worked I also made a registry change that worked. It is as
follows
:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin]
and change the subkey called "LoadBehavior" from a value of 3 to 0.
