Macros in Outlook

Joe Abraham

Hello,

Everytime I click "new" to send new email or reply to an existing email I
get the pop up window "The marcos for this project are disables. Please refer
to the online help and documentation of the host application to determine how
to enable the marcos". I have tried that and others:
1- I tried lower the security to low and restarting outlook2003 on windows xp
2- I went control panel, clicked office 2003 and click change, scroll down
to office shared componets and saw vba is running on the computer
3- detect and repair
None of the options seem to work.
What can I do next?

Thanks
Joe

My guess is that you are using WordMail as your editor and the prompt is coming from Word. Check its macro security settings and look for macros in the Normal.dot template.

What do I do after I locate it?
"Delete" it?

That's up to you to decide. If Normal.dot has macros you don't want, delete them.
