macros

I get an mesage each time I open or close windows.
the message states the macros in the project are disabled.

what can I do

Every time you open Windows? Or every time you open Word
Sounds like you have your macro security settings on HIGH and you're trying to open a document that contains macros
Or, sounds like you have a file in your startup folder that requires macros to run (like Adobe is installed or some other template contains macros)

Assuming you mean when you open or close Word, set your macro security in
Word to Medium. You may want to take the further step under macro security
to trust templates and Add-Ins.
