macros

I have a user who saved her macros to a disk because she
got a new computer; she then saved to her 'c:' drive, how
does she get those macros recorded so she can use them??
She is currently getting a run-time error when she tries
to record them, does she even need to do this. Obviously
my knowledge of macros is LIMITED; I'm at a loss.
Suggestions? Thanks for your help; it's greatly
appreciated

How did she save them? Macros are stored in templates (and less commonly in
documents) by replacing the templates, the macros will be replaced with
them. If she used some other method we need to know what.
