I am trying to add a macro that will insert the file and pathname in 8 pt.
font in my document. I created the macro, added it to my toolbar; but I
cannot seem to get the macro to insert it in 8 pt. font. Can you help?--

Filename and path is an AutoText entry containing a field. You can make your
own with a particular formatting if you want. You can put an Autotext entry
on a toolbar if you want. Not sure why you would want to use a macro for
this.

Thank you for your response. I have my own toolbar with several macros I
created. I did not know you could put Autotext entries on a toolbar. Could
you give me an idea how to do this?

Tools | Customize. On the Commands tab, scroll down to AutoText in the
Categories list. Select the desired entry in the Commands list and drag it
to a toolbar. By default the button will have a text label because there is
no icon for AutoText. You can either select one of the available button
faces (right-click on the button and choose Change Button Image) or design
one of your own (Edit Button Image). This image will be displayed when you
choose Default Style for the button.

I have one last question. Is it possible to make the button for a single
autotext entry?

That's what the instructions I gave you do! "Select the desired [AutoText]
entry in the Commands list and drag it to a toolbar."

Sorry, I put the whole list on the toolbar, I chose Insert from the Command
and dragged all the entries; I did not see "Auto text" at the bottom of the
list. Sorry about that!
